The TV series 24 hooked me to TV I watched like 2 seasons in a few days, but even though I like it, it is going on my nerves, they stretch the story too far for too long. I like the idea that the whole season takes place in 24 hours but you got to come up with a rational and plausible sequence of events that are also entertaining. In this show people don’t learn from their mistakes and the same person gets kidnapped like 10 times in 24 hours.

For all mankind

For all mankind from AppleTV+ is one hell of a show. It gives the millenials (including me) and Gen Z a glimpse of excitement that Gen X (post boomers!) from the space race and going to the moon. It’s an alternate history in which Soviets make it to the moon before the US. I like that the show narrates the story of a few characters separately so there’s hopefully at least one that you can relate to closely.

Thoughts on Deep Work

Deep work a book written by Cal Newport. It is a quite useful book, there are three things I do not like about this book. It maybe just me, but I do not like to read exactly the same sentence more than once in a single book! First couple of chapters used to give the reader anectodes and evidence for why deep work is a thing and why it matters, although Cal is a scientist and in this book just like the scientific method he is trying to motivate and justify his hypothesis, to me it seemed a big part of the books is spend on that specific subject matter, I wish he would bring the sections with the guidelines and methods to build of habit of deep work and avoiding shallow work.

Thoughts on Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari

I have to say this book is my all time favorite, the amount of information I received from this book is not measurable, on top of that it made think, and question what I thought I know. An impressive experience, I have already recommended it to many of my friends and I will keep doing so. Some people like to brag about their national food, but they tend to forget that what they consider to be their national food is not really theirs, in fact a couple years back the ingredients they use where not even available in their countries and they could not even name such ingredients if they would see them.
