This is the first Saturday of the year. Thank goodness this year January 2nd is a Saturday, that would mean there are 2 more days of holidays before going back to work. Yes, you read me right I have a job! and I go to work, well not really at least thanks to covid-19 (as strange that this statement sounds) I work remotely, like many these days or perhaps better to say these past months. I quite enjoyed my holidays but I’m not so keen on going back to work. Clearly I’m not enjoying my job very much, it’s very challenging but not satisfying. I believe many folks have the same issue, we get a job, stick with it for as long as we can! We forget the passion we had to do great things. Achieve the impossible or to make difference, even to a few. It’s true that financial stability is a good thing to have especially in these difficult times but as a European you kind of know even if you lose your job there’s not much to be worried about the state will provide for you (to some extent of course). So I’m considering to take some time off and start a venture of my own. Worst case after burning through my savings for a few months I’ll find another job and get back to being a loyal employee and a good consumer!
